Medicine

I attended medical school at the University of Monterrey (Universidad de Monterrey) located in the Monterrey metropolitan area municipality of San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

Clerkships were done through (1) the Christus Muguerza Health system, (2) the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), (3) the Institute for Social Security and Services for State Workers (ISSSTE) and (4) the Nuevo Leon Health Secretariat (SSNL).

My pre-graduation internship (MIP) was completed at Christus Muguerza Hospital Saltillo. My social/government service (MPSS) was completed at a rural health clinic in the ranch communities of Colorados and La Agüita in the municipality of Dr. Arroyo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

I am certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) and am currently interviewing for a PGY position in graduate medical programs. My AAMC number is 12346083.
