When I started medical school in Mexico, I saw the obvious need of conducting all aspects of my life in Spanish. This was a big change because up to that point all of my upbringing was in English.  After I became comfortable with this, I became interested in learning other languages. At this time, I'm learning Hebrew, Latin, Esperanto, French and Italian. Eventually, I'd also like to learn Arabic and Japanese to truly be a polyglot.
